How far would you go to help a friend in need? In this talk, Amanda answers this question by telling her surrogacy story, narrating her personal journey from the simple decision to help a friend in need to the profound questions it raised for her own life, as well as the implications it holds for everyone else. Whether exploding watermelons with her own sons, or becoming a gestational surrogate for the children of a friend, her life has been guided by curiosity and a love of exploration which she enjoys fostering in others.
