Our initial screening follows guidelines from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). These guidelines help protect you, support a healthy pregnancy, and create the best experience for everyone involved. If you meet the qualifications below, you may be a strong candidate to become a surrogate.
- Body Mass Index (BMI) in the 19 to 32 range
- Must be under age 41
- Free from tobacco, nicotine, and illegal drug use
- Cannot be taking medications that are not pregnancy-safe, including certain antidepressant or anti-anxiety medications, unless you can safely taper off with your doctor’s guidance
- Must be a US citizen
- Be able to travel to a fertility clinic
